I read NYC got over 20 inches! Is it still falling?
It's always nice when blizzards happen on the weekend, when you can go out and marvel in it without having to figure out how you will get to work in it. Midweek blizzards are stressful. Weekend blizzards are cozy and heart-warming.
Unfortunately, I have to work today.. Am currently surrounded by news yay-hoos.. running around like chickens with heads chopped off! Snow! Snow! Long Island Railroad shut down! Snow! Snow! Fatal car crash on the George Washington Bridge! So I'm getting a large dose of both the good and the bad on this snow day. Got off the subway a stop early and walked through Central Park.. Filled to the brim with grins, mittens, sleds and families! I have THE best pictures that I'll post later tonight!
Yes, my love.. As I sit here in my glass tower, the white stuff continues to fly.. snowflakes the size of cottonballs pelt the window like bugs on a windshield.. Unbelievably, my very fashionable knee high "hooker boots" are completely waterproof! I'm sassy AND sensible! Who knew?
hi "thegirlwho", really nice pix. I think I have a dog like yours. he's a 1 year old "labrador-pointer-mix" (a german word). and he likes snow and water as well.
Who was the other dog? Huskie fun'ster. Is that a NYC pal of Max's? I've had dogs of all ages forever. When that snow's fallin', they all smile like it's a dog holiday. It's reason 3 of 10 million why we love them!
Amen. Love when my Maxer grins and flaps his "propellers".. I will own AT LEAST one dog until I die.
Oh - and Hi Hensing! You're new around these parts... I checked out your site.. Are you German or American? Either way, WELCOME! Where are you logging on from?
Thank you for welcome me, I'm german that's why my english isn't that good! I've found your site at http://www.blogger.de while I was reading some blog's. Maybe I'll visit your site more often, give a greating or just see how Max grows :) HENSING
I am so excited!! You're German! Your English is fantastic! My husband's band plays in Germany sometimes. You should definitely visit more often! It's simply astounding to me that I can talk to someone in Germany by clicking a few keys on my keyboard!
I'll show up in future! It's also interesting for me to write to somebody who lives in the states. What's the name of the band? and what kind of musik are they playing? maybe I've heard of them. @Sloopy Thank you but now I've to to bed. In germany it is 2AM and I've to sort my stuff out tomorrow (today) because I'm moving at the end of February. Good night at all
The band is called Marah. You can check out their website if you go to the links section of this blog..scroll down, it's near the bottom on the left side.. Where are you moving to? Anyway, good night.. glad to meet you (virtually)..
I found the link but I don't know them:( But I'll listen to them when I'll find a record of them. I like rock as well (Queens of the Stone Age, The Strokes, Stained ........) And moving: From one little village called Hage "Eastern Friesland (region in Northern Germany)" to another really small town, Emden. "See" you next time......
My dog loves the snow.....but when he has to piss all he does is eat the snow....which makes him have to piss more...which he doesn't because he is to busy eating....it's an endless cycle!!!!
