Kill 'Em With Kindness

We are Jersey Shore bound. Which means we are probably living (dying) through yet another version of the video you're about to see. Pray for us.

I'M MAD! I'M MAD!

Haha, that was GREAT! I laughed out loud.

Oh my God, classic! "I'm not happy!" And Violet just rolls with it. And the close up of Monica's face. And then at the end when Serge just goes "What?" Like he just gets it that Henry is not feelin it. You guys are more fun than a barrel full of monkeys! Which, if you think about it monkeys in a barrel would probably be jumping, biting, poo slinging SOB's. Ha. Thanks for the laughs and have fuuuuuuun if it kills you.

He is blowing his little stack! Are you ever able to get him to laugh-cry? Anyway, I love the duet..the overlapping of lyrics, pan to the happy mother.... "Mr. Eggplant sing me a song, make his complexion all purple and long. ding ding ding.ding, I'm sick of sandman, this trip is so long...." Best way to get there faster. Anyway, I hope you have a great vacation. Here is a nice car song that's shore to please.... "Sing it till you learn it!" http://youtu.be/zsfeEvZcTjM

PS. My dad is stuck in the hospital for a time and we kids show up every day and sometimes try to do a little bedside singing in harmony ( he is a barbershop harmony guy), to which he immediately plugs his ears and asks us to stop. Maybe just give Henry a set of head phones if he doesn't care for the singing.

hahaha! At least you know how he really feels!

Evil you 2 are!! Evil I say!....But soooo freaking hilarious! I hope you loved that baby up after your shenanigans!

June 11, 2013 | Unregistered Commentermama

Really funny, this has given me a great belly laugh. Kids have such a range of emotions and can get annoyed just like any of us!!!

@Mama - What shenanigans? HE was being the asshole. I was just singing about how much I love him.

June 12, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterThe Girl Who...

The shenanigans are that you are torturing him by singing! You would be annoyed, too, if someone sang in your face about how happy you were and kept ignoring what you were actually saying.

June 13, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterLola

I did not find it hilarious as the others...you pretty much taunted him into a tantrum.

June 13, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterRiley

Oh my God! It was hilarious...lighten up. They are singing about how much they love him! So when your kid is screaming and crying as you say, "it's time for bed," and the kid is screaming and saying "no,no" is that taunting him? Your just speaking it instead of singing it. Same thing...They are saying the same thing, only singing it as they say it. All in all, he needs his nap.

June 14, 2013 | Unregistered Commentermama

Oh my God...dorks.

June 17, 2013 | Unregistered Commenterserge

I completely agree with Riley. It's one thing to try to lighten up a situation (joking a bit when he's obviously tired/pissed)- but to continue singing in his face and quite frankly, ignoring what he's saying- is absolutely taunting. Think about if you were in a crappy mood and someone just got all up in your face singing the same thing over and over. Ugh, and you're trying to tell them to cut it out, but they just won't listen.

THIS IS HORRIBLE. why anyone reads this blog is beyond me. Poor little baby. I'm not a perfect mom by any means but this just wasn't funny. Not only that, you're a trainwreck Monica. It only took me reading 2 blog posts to realize that. You really are exploiting these kids for blog hits. It's one thing to sing to him for a couple of seconds about how cranky he is...this is something else. I'm sure you could give 2 shits about just one reader, but I won't be back. Losers.

June 18, 2013 | Unregistered Commentermandy

Oh my god, how HORRIBLE! We sang to our kid who had been screaming at us for the past ten minutes so we started singing to drown out the noise. WHAT HORRRRRRIBLE PARENTS.

Go away. Seriously. Don't come back.

June 18, 2013 | Registered CommenterMonicaBielanko

Well, my first inclination was to feel a little bad for the little guy. But then I remembered that I am the sort of mom who makes videos like this:

https://vimeo.com/6461854

And realized we are the same. WE ARE THE SAME. (Maybe I'm worse, actually. Mine was a carefully crafted mocking of my overly emotional daughter, so....hmmm.)

I would say that you held up pretty well under the circumstances. I would be reaching back to swipe the air just inches away, screaming 'shut yer kiddie pie-hole, Quakerface." Hey... Fatigue sparks irritability and that prenap nonstop screaming tends to get to ya after a while... It's just maddening! I say you took the high road and let the chips fall where they may. Too bad if Sonny doesn't like the menacing lyrics. Too stinking bad. By that that point, probably ANY attention at all would trigger a rage, Wanna ice cream cone? NOOOO!!!!

July 1, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterGina

Oh little Henry, so adorable! And so mad, cheer up little one, love you!

July 2, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterCraig (grampa)

That was awesome!!
And to a couple of others on here *sings in ya face* GET A SENSE Of HUMOUR LA LAA LAAAAAAAA

July 4, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterBig Red

Wow. You two are assholes. You knew he was tired and you intentionally pushed him over the edge for page views.

July 8, 2013 | Unregistered Commenterabby

@Abby - That's exactly what happened! You can't even begin to fathom the amount of people who clicked here just to see that video! I'll bet all those page views probably earned me a quarter, maybe even fifty cents!!!!! If you send me your address I'll send you the quarter to buy yourself a sense of humor!

July 9, 2013 | Registered CommenterMonicaBielanko
