The Surge Sets My Birthday Cake On Fire

A few months back, I purchased trick candles for The Surge's birthday cake.. Yesterday, not aware of their tricky nature, he used them for the birthday cake he had waiting for me when I got home from work. He excitedly lit them when he thought he heard me come in the front door to our apartment building... then prepared to sing happy birthday.

Unfortunately, it wasn't me, it was an upstairs neighbor. I came in just in time to witness the smoky aftermath.
